Flagg Spring Baptist Church was constituted on the 7th of December, 1833, at the Flagg Spring meeting house, about one mile from the Ohio river in Campbell County, Kentucky.

According to records, the Pastor and members baked the bricks from the clay in the surrounding hills and the great timbers used in the ceiling were hewn by hand from the trees on the property.
